With this function, you can start a new drawing using a template. The program does not overwrite the original template drawing. By default, the program names the drawing Drawing[Incremental number], but you can rename the drawing.
In the Select template dialog, double-click the template drawing that you want to use. The program creates a new drawing and sets the template as the base drawing for it.
Template drawings are located in a template directory which you can define in the settings (see Define directory settings). The program comes with some template drawings but you can also create your own templates by saving them to the template directory.
