Draw a 3D cylinder. A 3D cylinder is a structure that consists of 3D faces. If you draw the tube as individual 3D faces, the program uses the active color. If you draw the cylinder as a symbol, the program uses the SYMBOL color.
Do the following:
-
In the 3D-Cylinder dialog, enter the diameter of the base of the cylinder. If you want to indicate the diameter on the drawing, select Point.
-
Enter the height of the cylinder.
-
Select whether you want to draw a bottom or a top to the cylinder.
-
Select the drawing accuracy. Note that high accuracy results in a larger drawing file.
-
Select the object type. If you want to edit the individual points on the cylinder's surface, select Polyfacemesh.
-
Click OK.
-
Enter center point of the cylinder.
-
If you selected to indicate the diameter on the drawing, indicate the radius of the cylinder.
