Find and replace text or attributes in multiple drawing files simultaneously.
Do the following:

In the Attribute/text replacement dialog, if you want to find text and attribute values, click Yes. The Insert text mask dialog opens.

Enter a string of characters that you want to find. You can use the following search methods:

If you want to find all strings that start in a certain way, enter an asterisk after the string, such as A*.

If you want to find all strings that end in a certain way, enter an asterisk before the string, such as *ing.

If you want to find a certain string in the middle of a text, enter asterisks on both sides of the string, such as *line*.

If you want to find a string where one character can be anything, enter a question mark on the place of the character, such as a?e. This finds you strings such as are, ale, ape, age, and ate.

Click OK. The Value to replace with dialog opens.

Enter the string that you want to replace the string that you entered in step 2.

Click OK. The Select drawings to replace from dialog opens.

Select the drawing files from which you want to search the string.

Click Open.
The program searches for the string in the drawings and replaces the text.
