Draw wipeouts

Annotate tab > Markup group > Wipeout, WIPEOUT

Home tab > Draw group > (Hatch) > Wipeout

Draw an object that hides all objects and parts of objects that are under it.

You can define a wipeout in two different ways:

  • By points

    1. Indicate the first corner of the wipeout.

    2. Indicate as many other corners as you want.

    3. Draw the wipeout by pressing Enter.

  • By selecting an object

    1. Enter OBJECT on the command line.

    2. Select the object that you want to use as the wipeout.

    3. Select whether to delete or keep the original object by entering YES or NO on the command line.

You can draw other objects on top of the wipeout and it does not cover them, unless you change the order of the objects. For more information, see Set draw order.

You can draw frames to the wipeout:

  1. Start the wipeout function.

  2. Enter FRAMES on the command line.

  3. Select whether to draw the frames by entering YES or NO on the command line.

  4. Press Enter.

The program edits the frames for the existing wipeouts and remembers the selection for the next wipeouts.
