File > Save as > Save copy, SAVECOPY |
With this function, you can save a copy of the current drawing. The current drawing will not be renamed nor will it be marked as saved.
Do the following:

Enter the file name. The program automatically fills in the correct file extension.

Click Save.
When you save a drawing, the program saves certain settings, such as grid spacing and ortho mode, with it. When you open the drawing the next time, the program turns on the saved settings as well.
Tip: When you save a symbol, it is recommended to turn off the preview option to reduce the size of the file.
