List functions

These functions can be used to count the number of the symbols in the drawing. The counting result can be attached to the drawing and, as necessary, this information can be exported to a file or clipboard (e.g. Excel).

  • Count quantities from whole drawing, Count quantities from selected elements and Count quantities from selected drawings, see Count quantities.

  • Delete overlapping elements – With this function, you can remove overlapping elements created via copying, for example. From the selected elements, only those that are exactly the same will be deleted. You can choose not to compare some properties. If you choose not to compare layers, for example, the elements will be interpreted as similar if layer is the only difference.

  • Hide listed elements – Function hides counted elements. Elements has a common attribute that indicates they have been counted. Finally hide elements will be shown again.

  • Show list bar symbols in drawing – This function is used to check the symbol names in the drawing, which are referred to in a specific (certain) parts list row. First the program asks to indicate the parts list row where the symbols will be visible. Then the program will tell how many symbols were found. These symbols will be marked with an arrow symbol in the drawing.

  • Delete quantity list rows – Additional list rows can be deleted with this function.

  • Add symbol graphics to the list – This function inserts symbols next to list row.

  • Set symbol list name – With this function, you can set a name, with which the symbol will be presented in the parts list. Select a symbol or parts list row where the name will be set, then enter the part's name and price.

  • Export selected quantity list rows to file – With this function, you can export selected list rows to file as a text file.

  • Export selected quantity list rows to new drawing – This function copies selected list rows to a new drawing.

  • Deactivate list layer – This function is used to deactivate LISTS layer. This layer contains all lists that are positioned in the drawing with Electrical parts list functions.

  • Activate list layer – This function is used to activate LISTS layer. This layer contains all lists that are positioned in the drawing with Electrical parts list functions.
