Copy a selected area to the Windows clipboard. Clipboard contents can be pasted to a drawing with the Paste from clipborad function.
Do the following:

Select objects you want to copy to the clipboard.

Enter a basepoint (or select a window).
Note: The behavior of this function is determined by the value of the CBALTINSBASE system variable. If the value is 0, you define a window whose lower left corner is the basepoint.
The logical palette will also be copied to the clipboard.
The objects will be copied to clipboard in four different formats:

CAD drawing
-
Enhanced Metafile
-
Windows Metafile
-
DIB (Device Independent Bitmap)
-
Bitmap (device independent)
When pasting the clipboard contents in other Windows applications you usually select the format by selecting Paste special.
