A polyline is an object that consists of one or multiple lines or arcs. The lines and arcs are defined by the polyline's vertexes. You can also draw a wide polyline.
Draw a polyline
Do the following:
-

Select Draw > Polyline > Draw polyline.
 -

Indicate the start point.
 -

Indicate the next point of the polyline or enter one of the following on the command line:
-

Arc – Switch to drawing an arc.
 -

Line – Switch to drawing a line.
 -

Direction – Indicate the tangent direction of an arc.
 -

Width – Enter the starting width and the ending width of the next segment.
 -

Close – Close the polyline by connecting the first and last points together.
 -

Undo – Remove the previous segment from the polyline.

 -

 -

Stop drawing the polyline by pressing Enter.

You can modify the polyline vertices with grip edit. For more information, see Grip edit.
Tip: During grip edit, you can force the hangles to move along the line of the segment by pressing Tab.
Draw a wide polyline
You can also draw wide polylines. Indicate the width in drawing units. The printing width of an object with a width of 0 is defined in the printing settings.
Do the following:
-

Select Draw > Polyline > Draw polyline.
 -

Enter the width of the polyline.

The program remembers the previous polyline width, so you do not have to define the width every time you start drawing a wide polyline.
