Use touch gestures
Using CADMATIC Draw efficiently requires that you use a mouse. However, there are cases where a touch screen is beneficial, mostly when a mouse is not available when you use a laptop or a tablet PC.
When you use a touch screen, it is recommended to use large DPI values which causes dialogs and texts to be shown bigger than normal. You can also change the toolbar button size. Select File > Settings > Display tab and set the button size on the slider.
You can use the following touch gestures:
-
Zooming – To zoom out, touch two points on the drawing area, and then move your fingers toward each other, as if you are pinching them together. To zoom in, touch two points on the item, and then move your fingers away from each other, as if you are stretching them apart.
-
Panning – Touch and drag the drawing area with one or two fingers.
-
Element selection – Tap both corners like you would with mouse. The selection area is not shown during selection.
-
Esc – Tap the screen with two fingers at the same time.
-
