Export to DIALux

Layout tab > Devices group >  Symbol functions menu > Light fixtures menu > DIALux export

You can export spaces from Electrical to DIALux for light calculations. After the light calculations are complete, you can import the IFC file to Electrical with product information.

Select the spaces you want to export, then select the .stf file.

If the drawing includes storey boundaries, do the following:

  1. Select the storey by indicating the storey boundary. The application asks if you want to export all the spaces inside the storey boundary.

  2. Select what to export:

    • Select Yes, if you want to export all the spaces inside the boundary.

    • Select No, if you want to select the spaces separately.

  3. Continue according to your previous selection:

    • If you selected Yes, move to the next step.

    • If you selected No, select the spaces you want to export. The spaces you select need to be included in the selected storey boundary.

  4. Select the .stf file, and save. The command line shows how many spaces were included in the file you selected.
