An Mtext object contains several rows of text in a single object.
By default, the Mtext object uses the current text settings, but you can format the font and appearance at any point of the text. Mtext elements do not support indents or tables. You can use bold and italics when you are using a TrueType font.
Do the following:

Specify the first corner point of the text block.

Specify the second corner point of the text block. The MText tab opens on the ribbon.

Set the first line indentation using the arrow above the ruler.

Set the left and right indentation using the arrows below the ruler.

Set tab stops by clicking on the ruler. The tab type can be changed using the tab button on the left side of the ruler. Tabs placed on the ruler can be removed by right-clicking them.

Enter text into the text field displayed in the drawing area.

You can edit various properties of the text and paragraphs by selecting the text to be edited in the text field and using the MText tab.

After entering and editing the text, select Save and Close on the MText tab.
The program draws the text in the selected location.

If you explode an Mtext element, the program turns the rows into individual text elements.
MText Tab
The MText tab opens when you start typing MText or select an MText object in the drawing to edit. On the MText tab, you can modify various properties of the selected text and paragraphs.
Formatting
Bold — Makes the selected text bold.
Italic — Italicizes the selected text.
Underline — Adds an underline to the selected text.
Strikethrough — Adds a strikethrough to the selected text.
Overline — Adds an overline to the selected text.
Clear Formatting

Remove character formatting — Removes all formatting defined in the Formatting group from the selected text.

Remove paragraph formatting — Removes all formatting defined in the Paragraph group from the selected text.

Remove all formatting — Removes all formatting from the selected text.
Charmap — Opens the Windows Character Map tool.
Width factor — Changes the width of characters in the selected text relative to the default (1.00).
Tracking — Changes the spacing between characters relative to the default (1.00).
Oblique angle — Changes the angle of the selected text characters.
Font — The font used by the selected text.
Size — The size of the text.
Color — The color of the selected text.
Layer — The layer on which the MText is placed.
Text style — The text style used when no other character formatting is applied.
Paragraph
Justification — Defines the alignment of the text relative to the insertion point.
Bullets and numbering
Numbered — Creates a numbered list.
Uppercase— Creates a list using uppercase letters as markers.
Lowercase— Creates a list using lowercase letters as markers.
Bulleted — Creates a bulleted list.
Line spacing — Line spacing of the selected text.
Settings
Undo — Reverts the most recent change to the text.
Redo — Restores the most recently undone change.
Ruler — Show/hide the ruler above the text area.
Close
Save and Close — Saves changes made to the text and closes the MText editor.
Cancel — Discards changes made to the text and closes the MText editor.
