Calculate area, perimeter, volume, and mass
Tools tab > Utilities group > Calculate menu > Area, perimeter, volume, mass, AREAMARK
With this function, you can calculate the area, perimeter, volume, and mass of a defined area and set the desired unit and rounding. You can also insert the calculated values into the drawing.
Define the area to calculate
Do the following:

In the command line, enter the command for the definition method:

Enter o to measure by objects.

Enter p to measure by points.

Enter a to define the area automatically.

Press Enter.

If you selected to measure by objects, select the objects that border the area that you want to measure.
If you selected to measure by points, select at least three points to define the area.
If you selected to measure automatically, select a point inside the area.

Press Enter. The Area, perimeter, volume and mass dialog opens and shows you the calculated values.

Select the values you want to add to or subtract from the previous values.

Enter the values for height and gravity to calculate volume and mass.

Select the units for each measurement in the drop-down menus.

Select the drawing unit.

If you want to round the measurements, select the rounding factor.

Select how many decimals you want to include in the measurements.

If you want to insert the measurements into the drawing, do the following:

Select the values you want to insert.

Select whether you want to include the units after the values.

Click Insert.

Select the location for the information on the drawing.
