(Offset), OFFSET
Draw a parallel offset line or arc to an existing line or arc.
Do the following:

Select the objects that you want to offset.

Confirm the selection by pressing Enter.

Indicate the direction of the offset.

Indicate the offset distance or enter it on the command line.
If you want to create a polyline copy of the object that you selected, enter 0 as the distance. This creates an exact polyline copy of the object.
The program draws an offset of the object and keeps the angles of the original object.
If the object that you selected is a line, a circle, or an arc, the program creates an object that is of the same type. If the object that you selected is a polyline or you select several objects, the program creates a single polyline.
