Undo and redo previous commands
Home tab > Undo group > Undo, UNDO | |
Home tab > Undo group > Undo menu > Redo, REDO |
With these functions, you can undo and redo the previous commands.
Undo previous commands one by one or create "events" that you can undo as a single command.
The Undo command has the following options:
-
Set – Set the undo mark. You can undo all modifications that you make after this by entering the keyword Mark.
-
Open – Open an event group buffer. The program adds all modifications that you make after this to the open buffer. If the program had a previous open group buffer, the program closes it. The buffer contains all changes to workmode and viewport type as well as drawing functions.
-
Close – Close an open buffer. After you close the group, the program handles all the modifications that you made inside the buffer as a single event.
-
Previous – Undo the previous function.
-
All – Undo all functions since you opened the drawing.
-
Mark – Undo all functions that you made after setting the mark.
Using the Set and Mark functions is especially useful when you want to use "trial and error" in your drawing. Set the undo mark, try something in the drawing, and if it does not look good, undo the modifications with the Mark command and try again.
With Redo, you can reverse the last Undo commands one by one. Execute the Redo command immediately after an Undo command that you want to reverse before any other drawing commands.
