Circuits
A circuit is a functional object, which can only contain devices. Devices from different locations can freely belong to a circuit. This makes it easy to find devices belonging to a certain circuit, although they would physically be located in different locations. Reviewing of devices in a project is possible based on a circuit arrangement, for example through a project tree.
The device identifier can contain several device IDs, i.e. subdevices, and pins. The device identifier appears in the hierarchy binding and location systems, too.
A circuit can appear as part of the hierarchy linkage, but as an abstract object never under a certain location.
The Circuits tab shows all the circuits in the project. On this tab, you can add, edit and remove circuits, for example. To see the functions, right-click on the desired cell or the selected row.
