Implement SQL Server databases

This document shows you how to install and implement Microsoft SQL Server databases (hereafter SQL Server) in CADMATIC Electrical. This document is a general overview, and you might need to adapt it to the existing IT infrastructure if you are installing SQL Server in client environment.

System requirements:

• Windows Server 2012 (or equivalent)

• Administrator level permissions on the server

• Workstation (Windows 10) with installed CADMATIC Electrical Premium software (version 18 or newer)

• Microsoft SQL Server 2018 Express software installation package downloaded on the server

• SQL Server Management Studio installation package, which you can also download during installation
