Electrical tab > Projects group > Project settings

In the Common section, define common project settings, such as the design language.

• Full ID system – The program uses location based ID system. Device's Full ID will be created by location: =Object ID+Electrical position-Device

• Design language – This setting effect e.g. wiring color language and which language default frame will be used.

• Locale – By default, the locale is set to Other.

• Standard – The standard determines what kind of symbols are available for toolsets. The default for new projects was defined when the program was first installed. You can also change the standard/locale in the Electrical settings by clicking Default project settings.

• Date format (default) – Defines date formatting for the project. Format can be selected from the following options:

  • According to Windows settings
  • dd/mm/yyyy
  • m/d/yyyy
  • d/m/yyyy
  • d.m.yyyy
  • d.mm.yyyy
  • dd.mm.yyyy
  • yyyy.mm.dd
  • yyyy. mm. dd.
  • yyyy-mm-dd
  • dd-mm-yyyy
