In the Common section, define common project settings, such as the design language.

Full ID system – The program uses location based ID system. Device's Full ID will be created by location: =Object ID+Electrical position-Device

Design language – This setting effect e.g. wiring color language and which language default frame will be used.

Locale – By default, the locale is set to Other.
- Standard – The standard determines what kind of symbols are available for toolsets. The default for new projects was defined when the program was first installed. You can also change the standard/locale in the Electrical settings by clicking Default project settings.

Date format (default) – Defines date formatting for the project. Format can be selected from the following options:
- According to Windows settings
- dd/mm/yyyy
- m/d/yyyy
- d/m/yyyy
- d.m.yyyy
- d.mm.yyyy
- dd.mm.yyyy
- yyyy.mm.dd
- yyyy. mm. dd.
- yyyy-mm-dd
- dd-mm-yyyy
