Viewing the indexing status

Do the following:

  1. Click Project Admin in the main menu. General view opens.

  2. Scroll down on the view until publishing and document indexing data is shown.

  3. See Document indexing section for the indexing status of document data sources and managed documents.

  4. You can make the following selections:

    • Click the name of the data source to see its data source configuration. InternalDocuments are managed documents.

      Note: If you save the data source configuration, all data sources of the same adapter with indexing enabled, will be indexed again.

    • To clear cached document data, click . This will delete the cached data and the text extraction will be ran again. This can be useful in cases where the text extraction has failed and you want to try again. The text extraction should run every time the document is updated, but this can also be forced by clicking the button.

    • To clear the indexing results, click . This will remove all the indexing results from the database, nullifying all indexing of the data source.

    • To restart the indexing, click Restart. The indexing will be restarted and completed using the indexing speed set in the data source configuration.

    • To restart the indexing and complete it as fast as possible, click Restart As Fast As Possible. The indexing will be restarted and completed as fast as possible by forcing the data source to use As Fast as Possible as the indexing speed.
