Show Arcs

Enable or disable arcs when presenting intersecting plates. By default, arcs are taken into account when presenting intersecting plates.

Arc presentation can be defined with the following settings:

  • Presentation > General > 2D/3D-Contek arcs
  • Extra > 3D-Show > 3D-Show arcs

Show End Lines In Cross Section

Enable or disable showing end lines for a plate (or bracket) in cross section. By default, no end lines are shown.

Use Propnr For Watertight Plates

When set to Enabled, the system automatically marks all those plates watertight that have the Propnumber logistical field set for them as property. The marking is shown when the plates are viewed in cross-section in 2D-Contek, 3D-Contek and Shell applications. Watertight plates are marked using three parallel lines. The dash pattern numbers used for the lines are defined in the value of Propnumber.

When the water tight plate is behind the view plane:

  • The center line will use the dash pattern number that is the value of Propnumber. For example, if Propnumber has value 29, dash pattern 29 is used for the center line. The pen number is 1.

  • The outer lines will use the dash pattern number that is the value of Propnumber +1. For example, if Propnumber has value 29, dash pattern 30 is used for the outer lines. The pen number is 4.

When the water tight plate is in front of the view plane or crosses the view plane:

  • Both the center and outer lines use the dash pattern number that is the value of Propnumber +1. For example, if Propnumber has value 29, dash pattern 30 is used for all three lines.

  • The center line uses pen number 1, and the outer lines use pen number 4.

The default setting is Disabled, which means that plates in cross-section are not marked as watertight automatically even if they have Propnumber set for them

Taper Presentation Incl. Bevels

This setting affects the presentation of adjacent plates and parts of plates split by seams in cross-section when the plates or plate parts have different thicknesses.

A taper is shown between the plates or plate parts if the bevel at the seam between the plates or plate parts has a taper defined for it in the bevel properties. A minimum height for the taper to be shown can be set in System Management > Production > Plate Cutting Data > Bevel > Settings > Taper Presentation Minimum.

When this setting is set to Enabled, the taper presentation includes the bevel. When set to Disabled (default), the bevel is not shown.

See Presentation of thickness difference in cross-section for more information.
