AI-generated type files
CADMATIC AI allows you to automatically generate bracket type files from annotated drawings (image files) or using textual requests. See Generating bracket type files.
You can also request CADMATIC AI to make corrections and other changes to existing AI-generated type files. This makes it possible to generate new type files using existing type files as the basis. Requesting changes to human-generated type files may not work as intended (see Correcting and changing bracket type files).
CADMATIC AI can also answer questions about the creation of type files.
Important: Before using an AI-generated type file, check the type file and make sure that it is fit for its intended purpose. Also ensure that the associated type macro (the type .cmd file) is in place and defines all the necessary variables for the type to work as intended.
When started from System Management with administrator rights, the generated type file can be saved directly to the project norms. In this case the Hull system creates a basic type macro for the type file. The system-created type macro does not contain variable values.
You need a separate license for using the CADMATIC AI.
CADMATIC AI interface
CADMATIC AI is presented as an chatbot.
CADMATIC AI is based on OpenAI model GPT4, enhanced with Cadmatic teaching.
CADMATIC AI can be started directly from CADMATIC Hull:
-
From the 3D-Contek application, Hull > Help > CADMATIC AI – Saving the generated files directly to the project norms is not possible.
-
From the System Management application, File > Help > CADMATIC AI – The generated files can be saved directly to the project norms if CADMATIC AI was started with administrator rights.
Multiple CADMATIC AI sessions can be open at the same time. To open a another session, click the New chat button.
See CADMATIC AI interface for instructions on the usage of CADMATIC AI.
