Logistics > Description > Alternatives
Define the texts that can be selected when defining alternative construction part descriptions in the Production > Logistics > Logistical Data menu in the 3D-Contek application.
The functions available in the Logistical Data menu are defined in Logistics > Logistical Data Menu.
Construction part
Define alternative construction part texts. In addition to free text, the following variables can be used. They will be replaced by the variable values in the actual description texts.

PANEL1 – Replaced by the panel number of the first related plate.

PANEL2 – Replaced by the panel number of the second related plate.

PLANELAYER – Replaced by the plane of the part.
-
PLATENAME – Replaced by a complete description of the plate.
-
PROFNAME – Replaced by the profile name (HP140x8, for example).
Note: In Excel reports the value of PROFNAME is replaced with the value of the ProfileName variable. The value of ProfileName for the different profile types can be defined in System Management > Presentation > Profiles > Dimension Text, in the Name definition column.

VAR – Replaced by the position of the plate.

VPR – Replaced by the position of the profile.

?/? – Replaced by the start and end location of the part. Used for slanted parts only.
