2D Construction

View > Presentation > 2D Construction

Add 2D construction to a drawing. With this function you can draw 2D lines to represent other construction lines and dimension lines, for example, when there is no construction created yet.

Note: Even though these 2D lines only represent construction lines and dimension lines, these representations are seen as construction and therefore added as marking lines on the coded parts of the shell plates.

• Construction in length – Controls the presentation of 2D lines in a shell view. Define the length boundaries (frames/butts) for the lines to be shown.

• Construction in width – Controls the presentation of 2D lines in a shell view. Define the width boundaries (width/seams) for the lines to be shown.

• Construction in height – Controls the presentation of 2D lines in a shell view. Define the height boundaries (height/seams) for the lines to be shown.

• Dimension Lines – Creates 2D lines seen as dimension lines in length direction. Define from frame to frame.

• Information from database – Fetches information on the selected construction type from the shape database. The construction list window is closed with the Stop button.

• Stop – Closes the Add 2D lines dialog.
