Spline
Draw > Spline
Draw a smooth curve that passes through or near the given set of points.
Indicate first point: Press Enter to select the position of the current control as the starting point.
Indicate line length and angle: Press Enter to use the current mouse position. A smooth curve will be drawn between this point and the previous points.

- Precision [current value]: Defines the number of points that the system will create between the two indicated points. Higher precision creates a smoother spline. The default value is 10, and can be set to any number between 1 and 100.
- Move Cursor: Moves the cursor without drawing a spline. You can type an absolute point into the dynamic input. You can type in a relative point by switching to the Length and Angle mode first.
- Coordinates: Switch from the active Length and Angle mode to the Coordinates mode. After switching to the Coordinates mode this option will be replaced by Length and Angle for switching back.
- Close: Creates a closed spline by connecting the last entered point to the first entered point. You can use this option after you have indicated two or more points.
Splitting a spline
Drawn spline is created as one item and cannot be divided into smaller splines by the clump or conflict selection. If you want to divide a spline to smaller splines, you must first allow the spline to be split by editing its properties.
- Right-click on the spline, and select Properties from the context menu.
- Select the Allow to Split check box.
