Attribute

Draw > Text > Attribute tab

In this Text dialog tab you can place attribute text.

Attribute text is a 3D entity, unlike the other text types. It is created as an attribute of a 3D item, and will appear on plate cutting data (coded parts). The texts are defined in the System Management application. They are also maintained by the system during the drawing update procedure.

Attribute text can be placed by choosing from a list of titles or phrases, but it can also be directly typed in.

The text area displays a list of the available predefined texts (if any). Click a text in the list to place it.

To create and free text, type the desired text into text field at the bottom of the dialog.

Placing the text

Do the following:

1. Enter the desired text into the writing area.

2. To place the text, click OK. The dialog closes.

3. Indicate the construction part on which to place the text.

4. Indicate the position on the construction part where to place the text.

The supported construction parts are plates and brackets.
