Norms Configurations
Extra > Norms Configurations
Use this function to set the default and current norms configuration and to create, modify, or delete norms configurations. A norms configuration consists of a specific group of settings for several production functions.
A norms configuration that has been set here can be selected when using the Production > Production > Create Production Information and Code One Part functions in the 3D-Contek and Shell applications.
The Standard norms configuration is always present, and it is not possible to modify or delete it.
Create a new configuration by clicking Create new configuration.
Define the following:
- Name – The name of the configuration.
- Based upon configuration – The configuration on which the new one is based. The new configuration will initially be a copy of the selected based-upon configuration.
- Description – Write a short and informative description for the configuration. The description is also displayed when selecting the configuration in the Create Production Information dialog in the 3D-Contek and Shell applications.
To set the current configuration, select the name from the Available configuration(s) list in the Norms Configurations dialog, and click Set configuration as current. Each configuration-dependent setting that is modified will be saved in the current configuration.
- Each time the System Management application is opened, the Standard configuration is set as the current configuration.
To set the default configuration, select a configuration, and click Set default. The default configuration is used by the coding functions in the 3D-Contek and Shell applications.
The maximum amount of configurations is 64.
