Dash Patterns
Drawings > Dash Patterns
Use this function to define dash/line patterns. Dash/line patterns can be selected in various functions in the 2D-Contek, 3D-Contek, and Shell applications, such as Draw > Lines and Draw > Circles.
Select the dash patterns to make them available in line drawing functions. Deselected dash patterns can not be used in line drawing functions.
The default line pattern is indicated by a bold pattern name.
Defining dash patterns
To define a dash pattern, click the pattern image. The Properties dialog opens.
Set the length of the dashes, and the length of the gaps between them. You can do this in three parts if so desired.
Select the Scale check box(es) to use length(s) depending on the scale of the drawing.
Select the check boxes as desired to use distances in millimeters, use a nominal dash, use a continuous line, or set only the end points.
Click Set as default to set the selected dash pattern to default.
Set the continuous line as the default by clicking its pattern image in the Dash Patterns main dialog.
