Panel Names

Logistics > Panel Names

Panel names are used only if the Panel Numbering System setting in Logistics > Partnumbering > Settings is set to Area.

Plate, Frame View

Define the panel name that can be selected when defining descriptions for the frame coordinate list.

Type the name in the Text field. If defined, the following terms are replaced:

• VAR: Replaced by the position of the plate.

Note: The first value in the list is considered to be the default plate panel name, unless it is not set for a particular frame value, and/or a plate is not positioned on frame position (for example, a bulkhead on Fr20 - 100).

Plate, Side View

Define the panel name that can be selected when defining descriptions for width grid.

Type the name in the Text field. If defined, the following terms are replaced:

• VAR: Replaced by the position of the plate in millimeters.
• NR: replaced by the grid value.

Note: The first value in the list is considered to be the default plate panel name, unless it is not set for a particular grid value, and/or a plate is not positioned on a grid (for example, a side girder on B3-100).

Plate, Top View

Defines the panel name that can be selected when defining descriptions for height grid. If defined, the following terms are replaced:

• VAR: Replaced by the position of the plate.
• NR: Replaced by the grid value.

The first value in the list is considered to be the default plate panel name, unless it is not set for a particular grid value, and/or a plate is not positioned on a grid (for example, a deck on H4-200).
