Settings Check

Tools > Settings Check

Check all the settings that can contain logistical fields and are stored in the current norms directory.

This function compares each logistical field that is used in the settings to the fields in the logistical layout. If a field used in the settings is not found in the logistical layout, an error is generated.

Once the check is completed and if errors were detected, an overview showing the following information for each setting is displayed:

• menuname
• internal file name
• variable name (if applicable)
• description of the CAM configuration (if applicable)
• names of the invalid field(s)

Correcting errors

You can open a setting by clicking the menuname link in the overview (this will not close the function). After correcting an error, you can perform a new check by clicking Re-check settings.
