Parallel Lines

Draw > Parallel Lines

Create a parallel line, arc, circle or spline.

Parallel distance can be indicated by clicking on the graphical window, by entering a value in the dynamic input, or by pressing Enter for using the current value shown on the dynamic input.

  1. Indicate an item by clicking on it, using the snaps, or by pressing Enter.
  2. Indicate parallel distance and quantity: The first field shows the previously used distance. The second field shows the number of parallel items to create.

When you use this function for the first time the default value is 300, After that the previously entered value will be shown on the dynamic inputs edit field. A positive distance means the same direction of the cursor. And a negative distance uses the opposite direction.

Note: The created parallel item inherits the dash-,pen- and layer properties from the indicated item.
