Parallel Lines
Draw > Parallel Lines
Create a parallel line, arc, circle or spline.
Parallel distance can be indicated by clicking on the graphical window, by entering a value in the dynamic input, or by pressing Enter for using the current value shown on the dynamic input.
- Indicate an item by clicking on it, using the snaps, or by pressing Enter.
- Indicate parallel distance and quantity: The first field shows the previously used distance. The second field shows the number of parallel items to create.
When you use this function for the first time the default value is 300, After that the previously entered value will be shown on the dynamic inputs edit field. A positive distance means the same direction of the cursor. And a negative distance uses the opposite direction.

- Segment Only [on / off]: This options is available when a spline or a poly line is selected. When this option is on you create a single parallel line instead of a whole spline. The default value is off.
- Moulded Line [on / off]: When this option is activated, you create a parallel line from the moulded line. The default value is off.
Note: The created parallel item inherits the dash-,pen- and layer properties from the indicated item.
