Interactive Move

Edit > Manipulate > Interactive Move

Keyboard shortcut: z

Move the selected items interactively to another position by clicking on the graphical window, or using the snap keys. If you start this function and there are no items selected, select the item(s) you want to move first.

  • Horizontally Forced – Move the selected item(s) in the horizontal direction only. After switching to the Horizontally Forced mode this option will be replaced by the Vertically Forced mode.
  • Vertically Forced – Move the selected items in the vertical direction only. After switching to the Vertically Forced mode this option will be replaced by the Free Point mode.
  • Free Point – Switch back to the free move mode. After switching, this option will be replaced by the Horizontally Forced mode.
