Copy Block

Copy an entire block in the specified direction by shifting, mirroring, or rotating it. All items in the active block will be copied and relations recalculated.

Select the block to be copied. The currently active block is selected by default.

It is recommended that you check the block information by clicking Diagnose. This function analyzes the block data for errors in the block, and determines if the block has relations to other blocks that are not present. An additional dialog will appear if there are errors or relations that are not correct. Make corrections as necessary before the copy operation to get the best copying results.

Shift – Shift the block along axes or a vector.

Mirror – Mirror the block over a fixed length, width, or height, or arbitrarily over a plane.

Rotate – Rotate the block over a fixed point or by a vector.

Include drawings – When selected, the drawings will be copied in the same direction as the block. Copying of drawings takes place after the construction has been copied. The following limitations apply:

• The drawings will not be rotated.
• Copy amount must be 1.
• Shifting can only be done along axes (not along vector), and in one direction at a time.
• Mirroring can only be done in length, width, and height (not on arbitrary plane).

If any of these terms is not met, the system will show a notification. If there were errors and/or warnings during copying, the system will ask confirmation on whether or not to proceed with copying the drawings.
