In most of the settings in this dialog, you define a layername (first box in the setting dialogs) and a color number (second box in the setting dialogs) for the layer items listed below.

Use Colour Number Or Layername

Define whether Colour number or Layername is used as an identification for the settings in this menu.

Inner Contour ID

Set an identification for the inner contour. Both the layername and color number must be specified.

Outer Contour ID

Set an identification for the outer contour. Both the layername and color number must be specified.

Nestix Logistical Info ID

Set the identification of all logistical information read into the Nestix2 database, such as plate thickness, type of material, and so on. Both the layername and color number must be specified.

Add Layer Table For Nesting

When enabled, a layer table will be inserted into the DXF file. This only applies to certain nesting systems (not to CADMATIC Nesting: Nestix2).

Profile Marking ID

If this setting is defined, profile markings will be placed in the specified layer and colour. Both the layername and color number must be specified.

• This setting is applicable only for use with VacuBlast machines.

Symbol ID

Set the layername and color number for marking symbols.

Marking ID

Set the layername and color number for marking lines.

Text ID

Set the layername and color number for marking texts.

Alternative Text ID

Set the layername and color number for text placement. The following texts are placed in this layer:

• Texts that start with the text defined in the Alternative Layer, Text Start setting.
• Texts along profile markings if the setting Prf. Mark. Texts In Alt. Layer is enabled.
• Texts along plate markings if the setting Plt. Mark. Texts In Alt. Layer is enabled.

Alternative Layer, Text Start

Specify a text for placement in the layer set with the Alternative text ID setting. All texts (except symbol texts) that start with the text defined here are placed in that layer.

Prf. Mark. Texts In Alt. Layer

When enabled, texts along profile markings are placed in the layer defined in the Alternative layer, text start setting.

Plt. Mark. Texts In Alt. Layer

When enabled, texts along plate markings are placed in the layer defined in the Alternative layer, text start setting.

Contour Direction

Define the direction for the inner and outer contour.

Bevel ID

Set the layername and color number for bevels.

• If this setting is defined, the information that is defined with the Description For Type settings in Production > Plate Cutting Data > Bevel > Description (Standard) is put in the middle of every bevelled edge.
• The text height is defined with the Production > Plate Cutting Data > Bevel > Settings > Bevel Text Height DXF setting.

Alternate Bevel ID

Set an alternate layername and colour number for bevels.

Bevel Types With Alternative ID

Select the bevel types that will use the Alternate Bevel ID setting.

Measure Points ID

Set the layername and color number for measure points.

Ridge ID

If this setting is defined, ridges will be placed in the specified layer and color. Both the layername and color number must be specified.

Marking Symbol ID

Set the layername and color number for marking symbols.
