Hull Agent Request Directory

Set the directory that is used for communication between CADMATIC Hull and CADMATIC Outfitting.

This directory is used by the Tools > Equipment function in the 3D-Contek application. The function enables the use of equipment from the CADMATIC library in CADMATIC Hull, and the modification of the placed equipment.

By default, this directory is not set (it is empty), and equipment is disabled. Defining this directory will also enable equipment.

Note: This setting is user-specific.

Note: If this directory is set, it is also used for presentation, overriding the Outfitting > Presentation > Settings > Hull Agent Request Directory setting.

Note: If you want to use the Tools > Equipment function, you must use a Hull Agent that runs on the local workstation. A local directory must be specified for the request directory.

Equipment Insertion Pen Number

Define the pen number for presenting new CADMATIC Outfitting equipment not yet present in the Outfitting project.

This setting is applicable only if the Projects > Outfitting > Equipment > Hull Agent Request Directory is set (enabling equipment).

Equipment Insertion Dash Pattern

Define the dash pattern for presenting new CADMATIC Outfitting equipment not yet present in the Outfitting project.

Value 0 designates a solid line.

This setting is applicable only if Projects > Outfitting > Equipment > Hull Agent Request Directory is set (enabling equipment).

Equipment Preliminary Pen Number

Define the pen number for presenting the CADMATIC Outfitting equipment that is already saved, but not yet updated. This is used when adding equipment from the Component Modeller Library as well as when copying and pasting existing parts.

This setting is applicable only if the Projects > Outfitting > Equipment > Hull Agent Request Directory is set (enabling equipment).
