Logistical Parts

Select Included to have logistical parts presented in the reports.

The parts are only presented in the report that is generated by the Production > Report > Create Report function, and in the list used with profile nesting in the 3D-Contek application.

Logistical parts are not presented in the lists used by Logistics > Logistical Data > Action Report.

Profile Type For Plates

Defines the description for plates when the derived data field ProfileType is used in a report.

If this value is set to the character M, the description of the part is the combination of the Report & sketch prefix set in the Logistics > Prefixes And Part Codes setting, and the dimensions of the part. For example, PL400X200X20.

Otherwise the literal value defined here is used.

Profile Type For Brackets

Defines the description for brackets when the derived data field ProfileType is used in a report.

If this value is set to M or BM, the description of the part is the combination of the Report & sketch prefix set in the Logistics > Prefixes And Part Codes setting, and the dimensions of the part. For example, BR1000X300X10.

  • When set to M, the dimension values are retrieved from the logistical values Length and Width.

  • When set to BM, the dimension values are generated according to the definitions in the M lines (dimension lines) in the bracket type file. See Bracket dimensions (M lines).

Otherwise the literal value defined here is used.

Profile Type For Lugs

Defines the description for lugs when the derived data field ProfileType is used in a report.

By default, the same description as for plates is used. Select Handle as profile to present the lugs as if they were profiles.

Long United Line Field Text

Sets the word that is inserted at the position of the VAR and/or VPR keyword, in those cases where the description in the united line would be too long.

If the values for the VAR and VPR keywords in the descriptions of all elements in a united line are summarized to, for example, fr..25&26&27&28 and so on, the summarized value for the description presented in the report might be too long to use. In this case, the word set here is filled in at the position of VAR and/or VPR.

Report Unite Warning

Sets the text that is filled in, if descriptions in united lines are different.

If the descriptions of the parts which are united into one line are different (except for the values filled in for the keywords VAR and VPR), the text specified with this environment variable is filled in into the united line in the report. If this variable is not defined, or if it is empty, the description of the first part is filled in.

Report Error Symbol

Specifies the symbol which will be used if logistical data cannot be presented in a report.

If an error occurs while retrieving a logistical data item, or if the retrieved data contains non-printable characters, or if the data cannot be presented because the column width is too small (numeric values), then the character specified with this setting is used to fill the relevant space in the column of the report.

The asterisk character * can be used to return to the old behavior.
