Hull Viewer selection

Various functions in CADMATIC Hull can perform their action on the items that are currently selected in Hull Viewer. The selected parts are added to the possibly already selected items either after selecting Hull Viewer or after selecting the Hull Viewer criteria from the Logistical selection dialog.

Selecting parts in Hull Viewer can be done by mouse or by keyboard shortcuts:

• Select a part with the left mouse button. By holding the Shift button down, parts can be added to the selection (or removed by selecting already selected parts).
• Ctrl+A selects all parts;
• Ctrl+Shift+A deselects all parts;
• Ctrl+R reverses the selection, that is all unselected parts become selected and vice versa.

Note: To be able to use the Hull Viewer selection criteria from the Logistical selection dialog, this selection criteria has to be added to the Selection criteria List in the Create/Edit Report Layout function of the System Management application.
