Shellframes

Shellframes are converted in conversion phase 1. Shellframes are created in a different scheme file. The name of this file can be set with the shellframe_filename setting in the configuration file.

Shellframes are converted to transversals and longitudinals.

Transversal numbers are created form the decimal frame number multiplied by 10.

FR10 => TR100

FR10.5 => TR105.

For negative frame numbers the absolute frame number is taken and 4000 is added.

FR-4 => TR4004

For transversals on starboard side 5000 is added.

FR10 => TR5100

Longitudinal numbers are taken from the width and height grid defined in Nupas. These grids are converted in phase 0 to the file gentab.dat.The longitudinal number nearest to the actual position is used for the shellframe.

B-1 => L10

For longitudinals on a deck 1000 is added to the number.

B-1 => L1010

For longitudinals on starboard side 2000 is added to the number.

B1 => L2010

For a longitudinal on a deck on starboard side.

B1 => L3010

For conversion of endcuts see the conversion of profiles.
