Imperial unit system

Values in CADMATIC Hull can be entered in both the imperial unit system and the metric unit system.

For changing which unit system is used in Hull, see Projects > Coordinate System > Settings.

Length in imperial units

To measure length in the imperial system, inches (in) and feet (ft) are used. The relationship between these units and their corresponding values in the metric system are listed below.

• 1 inch (in) = 25.4 mm

• 1 foot (ft) = 304.8 mm

Also:

• 1 foot = 12 inches

In the imperial system the default significance for length in CADMATIC Hull is 1/64". That is, the values are displayed at most with an accuracy of 1/64 of an inch.
