Sending settings to Outfitting

When all settings have been defined they have to be sent to CADMATIC Outfitting. Before sending the settings, make sure the Hull Agent is running.

To send the settings to Outfitting, select System Management > Projects > Outfitting > Hull Structure > Send Settings.

When sending hull structure settings to Outfitting

• Attribute definitions for the logistical information are created
• Group type definitions for the Work Breakdown Structure are created
• The HullTool profile HullTool.prf is created
• The Hull Agent is instructed to read the HullTool profile

The HullTool profile is located in <cadmatic project>\Site\pm\HullTools\HullTool.prf. This profile contains settings for data exchange as well as for the hullshape database and hole lists. If any changes have been made to these settings (for example, if a new version of NAPA shape database has been added to the project), the settings must be sent to Outfitting again.
