Spin

In the spin mode you can rotate, move and zoom the model. The spin navigation mode is suitable for inspecting smaller models.

Use the toolbar icon or the menu bar option Settings > Navigation > Spin.

Pressing F5 refreshes the screen. Refreshing centers the model and puts it back into the default view (Aft SB Top view). The entire block is shown after the refresh, even when only certain part(s) of the block were shown originally.

Rotation

To rotate the model, press the Ctrl+Shift keys simultaneously while moving the mouse. You can also press the left and the right mouse button simultaneously, while moving the mouse.

To set the rotation point, move the mouse pointer to the desired point, and press C.

The model can also be rotated around fixed axes (with respect to screen coordinates) by using the arrow keys and the Page Up / Page Down keys:

• Up/Down arrow key: rotate around x-axis (pitch)
• Left/Right arrow key: rotate around y-axis (yaw)
• Page Up, Page Down: rotate around z-axis (roll)

Moving

To move the model around the screen, press Ctrl while moving the mouse. You can also press the middle mouse button while moving the mouse.

Zooming

Zoom in and zoom out by pressing the + and - keys, respectively, or by scrolling the mouse wheel.
