Walk

In the walk mode, you can "walk" through the model like you would in real. The walk navigation mode is more suitable for larger models.

Use the toolbar icon or the menu bar option Settings > Navigation > Walk.

There are three different ways of controlling the view point and direction: moving and turning, shifting, and tilting. The controls are the same as in CADMATIC eBrowser.

Press F5 to refresh the screen. Refreshing centers the model and puts it back into the default view (Aft SB Top view). The entire block is shown after the refresh, even when only certain part(s) of the block were shown originally.

Moving and turning

Press the left mouse button to make the mouse pointer jump to the center of the screen. Move your point of view by moving the mouse away from the center of the screen while pressing the left mouse button.

Moving the mouse up or down moves the point of view forward or back, respectively. Moving the mouse to the left or to the right turns the point of view to the left or right.

The speed of the movement depends on the distance between the center of the screen and the point to which you move the mouse: The farther away from the center you move your mouse, the faster the movement is. The speed also depends on the settings in Settings > Preferences > Navigation.

Shifting

By pressing Shift and the left mouse button you can shift the point of view horizontally or vertically, depending on the movement of the mouse.

Tilting

Press Ctrl and the left mouse button to change the angle of view. Only vertical movement of the mouse has effect.
