Server License Manager

The Server License Manager application is included in every CADMATIC License Server installation.

You can use a single management console instance to manage all license servers installed in the same network by addressing the desired Host and Port in Server section.

In the Server License Manager you can view the activation key, release the license, import a license file, retrieve the device ID, and view the log. Server License Manager is accessible within the License Management Console or as a stand-alone executable.

Opening the Server License Manager

Do the following:

1. Open the Server License Manager from the License Management Console by selecting License Manager in the License Information tab.

   You can also open the application by running ServerLicenseManager.exe in the folder where the license server was installed, for example Program Files\Cadmatic\CADMATIC License Server 2.0.

2. Select the language, and then click Select.

Viewing the activation key

The activation key of the currently used license is visible in the Server License Manager dialog.

The activation key (or starting from version 2024T3R3, the last four digits) are visible also in the web interface. See License server's web interface.

Releasing the license

If you are replacing or modifying the server hardware or the system, the license must be released first, so that it will be available for activation in a new or changed server hardware or system.

In the Server License Manager dialog, select Release license from the Action drop-down menu, and then click Execute.

Importing the license file

If you have received a license file (.lic), use this function to read it into the server.

In the Server License Manager dialog, select Import license file from the Action drop-down menu, and then click Execute.

Locate the license file in the Open dialog, and then select Open.

Getting the device ID

If you have been instructed to provide a Device ID for offline license file creation, use this function.

In the Server License Manager dialog, select Get device id from the Action drop-down menu, and then click Execute.

The device ID is displayed in the dialog, and copied to the clipboard.

Viewing the log

In the Server License Manager dialog, select Open log file from the Action drop-down menu, and then click Execute.

The log file opens.
