Holes in plates split by seams
When creating holes (standard holes, user-defined holes, arbitrary holes ) and indicating a plate split by seams (panel) as a relation, the holes will be related to that plate part of the panel that is nearest to the indication point.
Topological extended corner holes and topological draining holes take the plate parts' contours into account when the holes are positioned on the related plate's contour.
Notes:
-
A hole in a panel can affect a neighboring plate's coded plate if the hole overlaps this plate. To avoid undesired coding results, you should add the overlapping hole as a relation to the neighboring plate, i.e. the plate should have the hole as a relation.

Hole on a panel (the top plate, split by a seam) overlapping another plate

Left: Plate not related to the overlapping hole (situation to be avoided)

Right: Plate related to the overlapping hole (correct situation)

A situation where a hole in a panel splits another plate should be entirely avoided, as this can cause problems in part numbering.
