Basic position of ridges

The type files with numbers 601 - 699 stored in the uitsp, uitsp3d or uitsp2d directory describe ridges that may be connected to hole attributes. These type files describe the shape of the ridges in a two-dimensional plane. This shape will change the shape of the related hole. Only the overlapping element with the hole will be removed from the cutting path. In this way several types of ridges can be defined in combination with the shape of the hole. The hole dimension can be used in the type file definition. It is necessary to write the type files from the perspective of a particular standard position. Ridges must be defined on the centre line of the hole and have their standard height in the Y direction. To illustrate this, the correct positions are shown in the figures below:
