Bracket type 762

Bracket type 762 is a bracket fitted between a profile or plate in cross section and a profile in plan view. The user change the height, gap and thickness. If the span length of the bracket is bigger than 475 mm, the system automatically adds a flange of 75 mm.

flangeAction value 3 means the default value No flange.

If the gap between the profile in plan view and the plate in cross section is bigger than the default gap distance (Def_HP_Par), R1 will be calculated by (profile height * 1.25 + gap).

Def_HP_fact is by default 1.25, but can be changed by the system manager

The stand variable, defined in the bracket761.inp file, is used to define the default answers. Normally the input fields for a standard are frozen. If value -12345 is assigned, the corresponding input field is not frozen and empty so values can be entered.

In this case the method of definition is different than bracket760.cmd because one line of the macro must not have more than 130 characters.

The bracket gets panel code YA.

If the profile in plan view does not stop, type 762a is used to define the bracket. If not then depended on the overlap, choose type 762b or 762.

A flange will be added automatically if the length is bigger than 475 mm. The user can also select to add a flange.
