The type file

The content of the type files consist of the following.

Mandatory lines in all type files:

• Status line

• Variables and constants (maximum of 35)

• Operators: Optional IF, ELSE and LET statements

• Shape definition (to a maximum of 60 items)

• End shape definition line (E line)

Optional lines:

• Title line (T line)

• Profile description line (D line)

• Profile list line/robot line (R line)

• Profile sketch line (H line)

• Hole description line (G line)

• Hole and cutout contour direction line (O line)

• Lug line (W Line)

• Alternative line in cutout type file to select a lug based on a condition (A line). See Selecting lugs based on condition for details.

• Weld/Bevel information line (B lines)

• Lines for profiles and pillars in plan view (B lines)

• Lines for profiles and pillars in bulb view (BD, FL and FH lines)

• Lines for 3D profile presentation in the 3D-Show application and Hull Viewer (3D lines)

Additionally, in profile end type files it is possible to use variables bent, composite, msp, and fpc. With these variables it is possible to specify that the profile is a bent profile or a composite profile, define the molded side placement of a profile or face plate, and define the position of the calculation plane of a face plate, respectively.
