Templates for shell plates

Templates are plates mostly made of wood, that help checking and evaluating the shape of the shell plate during the bending process. In the end of the shell plate production the curvature of the shell plate should precisely match the curvature of its templates.

A set of templates can be defined for each individual shell plate. If jig information is required in the production and assembly phase, you can add a jig plane for multiple shell plates to show the pin jig heights on drawings.

In Shell Application, on the Template tab, you can define the template sets and create and modify templates. The same tab also contains all the functions for generating the production information for the templates.

The application gives you the flexibility and the freedom to define the variety of template sets that are necessary to bend the shell plate into a correct shape.
