Installation and licensing

This document provides information for administrative users who install and configure CADMATIC Hull software modules.

You can use the CADMATIC Marine Design Installation setup program to install the following main components of the CADMATIC Hull system:

• CADMATIC Hull Server
• CADMATIC License Server
• COS server
• CADMATIC Hull

You can also use the setup program to install the CADMATIC Hull Viewer – Work Preparation Manager application. CADMATIC Hull Viewer can be licensed as part of the CADMATIC Hull system, or separately as a stand-alone product that can be run on computers that do not require the full editing capabilities of CADMATIC Hull. You can also use CADMATIC Hull Viewer without a license, but just for viewing 3D models. The full functionality is unlocked only with a license.
