Windows authentication

To avoid users having to remember separate passwords for CADMATIC, the COS server uses authentication services provided by the operating system. This means that the server knows the Windows account name of each registered user and uses this to identify the user. The stored Windows account names are only visible to those servers that share the same COS user accounts, so that for example subcontractors cannot see them.
