Check Welds

On the Weld tab, the Check group contains tools for checking the integrity of welds.

You should run these checks before making weld drawings or exporting Excel reports of welds. The program does not track whether these operations are done or not.

Check welds in active weld group

This command reports those welds in the active weld group where some of the welded parts no longer exist in the area model. For example, if a weld joins parts 1 and 2 but part 1 no longer exists in the area model, then this is reported as a problem.

Check welds in groups

This command performs the same checks as Check welds in active weld group but allows you to select the weld groups to be checked.

Check welds for welds in no group

This command lists orphan welds that no longer belong to any weld group.
