Identification labels

You can generate identification labels for objects in 3D views.

Tip: In File > Settings > User Settings > User Interface > Object identification labels, you can define which object types display these labels and what data they show in the label.

Show identification labels for a set

Select Home tab > Information group > Identification labels > Show identification labels for a set to generate identification labels for a set of objects you are prompted to pick from the 3D model.

Generate identification labels

Select Home tab > Information group > Identification labels > Generate identification labels to generate identification labels for all applicable objects.

Tip: Alternatively, you can use the context-menu command 3D-digitize > Generate object identification labels (Alt+Shift+L).

Clear identification labels

Select Home tab > Information group > Identification labels > Clear identification labels to remove all identification labels from work views.

Tip: Alternatively, you can use the context-menu command 3D-digitize > Clear object identification labels (Alt+Shift+K).
